Watamula

Close to the most northerly place of Curaçao you’ll find a natural phenomenon that is called ‘Curaçao’s Breath’.

Just behind the coast the sea ground away an enormous hole in the rocky bottom.

Tidal waves go in and out with much force. The accompanying sound has the timbre and rhythm of the breathing of a sleeping beast.

This magnificent phenomenon is worth a visit. Watamula is about half an hour’s distance from Flamingo-Fun.
